I can’t believe you played meMia!” Daniel’s hand trembled as he stood over her, cocked the gun, and pulled the trigger. With each shot, blood splattered across the room, settling into the crisp white thousand count sheets covering the queen size bed. Except for his beating heart, everything was silent. He stood still,taking a moment to survey the once elegantly decorated hotel room that had now become a crime scene. Mia’s body lay limp,her head dangling from the bed that sat in between the cherry wood nightstand and coffee colored accent wall. The sudden gurgling sounds coming from his victim caused him to approach her and fire one more shot. Wiping blood from his face, he tucked the gun into his jacket, and disappeared.
